upload html files to a page on my website

Jun 24, 2012 4:56 PM

I am creating a website using CS5.5 Dreamweaver. I want to upload an e learning course which I have exported as an HTML file from Lectora (elearning software like captivate) to one of my webpages. I notice there is >Insert swf or flv files in the menu items but I cannot see how I can insert my html file to my website.

An html file is a web page. You simply need to upload (use Put in DW)  the html file and link to it from any other existing page. Repeat with the other html pages that make up the course.

Did you see the reply posted by Murray in response to your identical question posted yesterday?

There is no "upload the HTML files to Dreamweaver."

Define a site in DW.  The local root folder of that site will point to the local folder that contains your relevant files (and subfolders).  Open DW, use File > Open to browse to and select the file you just exported and it will open in DW.  It's as simple as that.
