Submit magazine to Apple apps?

I would like to submit a simple magazine I made in Indesign CS5.5 to the Apple apps for approval. Could I just export it as a PDF and submit it that way or how would I get around to do this? Am I forced to do it through adobe and their multi-folio/single-folio applications?

As much detail would be appreciated. Thanks!

Apple does not accept PDF either to the iTunes Store or to the iBookstore. You either need to prepare an EPUB file following Apple's guidelines for the iBookstore, or create a multi-folio/single-folio application for iTunes Store.

I'm moving this to the DPS forum where I think you'll get more help.

These formats are so totally different from each other that it's nearly impossible to answer this but to summarize...

While DPS supports various devices, the $395 Single Edition is iPad only. Those other devices will require a professional or enterprise level account.

Fix layout epub has nothing to do with DPS and I would strongly recommend doing some reading on the topic since this is a very specialized type of EPUB. Circular Flo has a product that converts InDesign files to fixed layout EPUB. Visit their website for details.
