Scrollable frame drawers pulled down and to the right, which are set to Use Document Position, function as expected in the desktop and Android ACVs, but are displayed as static fully drawn objects without the scrolling functionality in the iOS ACV.
Adding the stand-off item that was used in the pre Use Document Position era will get them to function correctly.
See in this sample document.
the behaviour is really different between desktop and iPad. the android viewer and the desktop viewer are both built in the (same?) air framework, so they behave the same the most time.
funny that it is working there, i always need to insert some "helper boxes" to ensure that there is enough flesh in the scrollable content that you can drag out of the view:

this might be a bug, but there is an easy workaround.

Thanks Johannes.
I know about "helper boxes" workaround (what I call "stand-off item").
I like to use a small item that marks the edge point and not a full length one.
Is there a specific reason why you use a full length item to set the stand-off?
Also, due to the facts that this feature:
(1) works on the Air based viewers and doesn't work on the iOS viewers
(2) performs correctly in 2 of the 4 directions
I consider this to be a bug.
Being it a bug with a relatively simple workaround is only a benefit.
