We need more information. What are the specs of your computer system? What version of Snow Leopard are you running? Are you getting any error messages?

You need to be more specific about your issue. Please tell us exactly what happens when you try to install Acrobat X.

Do you get any error message or warning?

Are you trying to install Acrobat X from CCM, disc or download link?

    An error screenshot would help.

Also, please share the install.log at http://pastebin.com/

    Install log location : /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/[Adobe Application name<date>].log.gz

You need to view the thread in a web browser and then click on the camera button.  This will give you the option to select your image file.  I would recommend providing the image in a jpg format.  You can locate the message thread by clicking on http://forums.adobe.com/message/4489115#4489115.

There is also more information in the forum thread titled How do I embed an image or a video in a forum message? - http://forums.adobe.com/message/1877408#1877408.

Which Suite are you trying to install?  You can download the trial for that suite and install it.

My apologies if I missed where you stated the exact suite you were installing.  You can download the install files via the trial download for Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=designweb_premium.  The install files are identical to those which are contained on your DVD.

It is identical to the installation files on your DVD.  You would simply enter your serial number during the installation process.  Since you alreadyhave several of the applications installed from the suite it should not prompt you to enter a serial number.

I don't know if this is going to solve your difficulties btw as I don't believe those have been fully diagnosed.

The extraction process should be quite quick.  If you are seeing a long period of time for the extraction it is likely you choose to download the install files to a location which the Adobe Application Manager does not have permission to write too.

You have a couple of options. First you can cancel the download and reinitiate it choosing the default location of the User folder to download the install files too.  Or you can initiate a direct download using the process listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.

Dear All, just to say that I have related problems. Previously CS6 worked fine on my mac with OSX 10.7. After a clean install of 10.8, all other applications went fine, but Acrobat X Pro does not install. It pretends to install but is not there. The next time I launch the installer it again offers to install (only) acrobat (ie. it recognises it is not there), but with the same result. I have repaired permisssions tried another admin account, restarted etc, but to no help. A copy of my previous Acrobat folder of clourse does not work, and uninstalling it neither. Will try the demo download when at some point it is finished. regards. PS I install froman institutional image.

I had online help from Adobe, who solved the problem using the acrobat package only installer on my disk image (payloads/AcrobatProfessional10.0-EFG/Adobe Acrobat X Pro Installer.pkg). Thanks for the quick assistance
