Debug on iOS device does not work in AIR3.3

Jun 18, 2012 2:56 PM

Debugging on an iOS device stopped working for me after updating to AIR 3.3 . Flash Builder is stuck forever in "Packaging <app> for Apple iOS" step when I choose "Fast" packaging. If I choose Standard packaging then the packaging fails with some fatal error "detected by Java Runtime". Is it a known issue? Any workarounds? Debugging on Android devices seem to work fine.

Btw, USB debugging doesn't work for me either. Application screen just stays black even after executing "c" in fdb.

    Hi ,

Are you using any Native Extensions in your project ? Can you please share your project with me ? It would help in investigating the issue . You can either attach your project here or send it to me akharban(at)adobe(dot)com.

Try packaging the app from commandline using ADT . Are you able to package using ADT from command line ?

Regarding the USB Debugging issue , it is difficult to say anything without trying it out on the actual app . Do you see any error messages on the Desktop when you press 'c' ? Are you able to reproduce this issue only with this app or is it reproducible in other apps also ? Which mode of debugging are you using USB or over wi-fi ?
