Hi, here's the offending homepage...
The background image is in the wrapper div, with the small_nav div 'on top' as it were.
Why, when I place the small_nav div, does the background image move in the wrapper div?
Any clues, as ever, greatfully recieved.
Can I suggest indead of making this image the background of your wrapper adding it as an image tag to your header? This information looks like header info, and I think it would be easier to work with it in that way, rather than dealing with a background image.
Hi Julia, thanks for the pointer.... you may have guessed I'm still learning this web designing lark.... how would I go about making it an image tag... I've not tried that before.
You can create an image tag using this code:
note that the image tag in within the </head> section. You can also do this without entering the code yourself. Just go up Insert >> Image in the top menu bar!
Also, you can remove the width and height properties if you wish, as they are unnessesary to use if you want the image to display as the original size.
Hi Julia.... just thought I'd let you know... after a bit of experimenting, I applied the image tag to the header div... and with a bit of fiddling it seems to work!
Top marks... thnaks again!
