I converted the background layer to layer 0 so I could turn off the lock. I'm unable to delete the layer. How can I do it? Thank you.
I did that and the trash can is still grayed out. I'm fairly confident at this point that my software has somehow become corrupted and, once I figure out how to, I will open a problem with Adobe. Thank you.
Select them (highlight them) in Organizer and hit the delete button on the keyboard. That will delete the images from the catalog. But they will remain on your hard drive unless you request removal at the same time.
