text box rollover conflicts with link rollover.

Hi,  I am trying to create a menu that appears with a rollover.  The problem that I am having is that the textbox rollover seems to be canceling my link rollover color.  Is there a way to fix this?  Idealy I would like a menu that activates when rolled over and then has each page link change color when hovered on.

    Is there anyway you could provide screenshots or a URL to better explain what you are trying to do?

    Sure thing, here is a link.  http://jayflynn.businesscatalyst.com/gracefully-lying.html    I'm wanting the menu appear when it is rolled over, which I have done by activating the text box roll over.  But I can't seem to get the individual menu links to change color.  I can get them to underline.  I think the master text box roll over color is trumping the link hover color.

    I see what you mean! I tried to recreate what you are trying to do here, and what I found was that you can change the link styles in the hyperlink menu. I've attached screenshots for you.

    I was able to add different link syles to that
