Probably Covered but PLEASE help

I am scanned very old pictures into my ipad to resore using the new touch app. When I pinch and zoom to work on specific portions of the picture afterwards I zoom out and I have lost the rest of the picture.

 

I have tried just using the up/down left/right arrow to move around but I must pinch/zoon in order to get that fine detail

 

All I want to do is be able to keep the entire picture zoomed in and be able to work on it without loosing any portions of it. Can someone please help!

    Hi,

     

    In order to be able to help you I need to ask some questions to be able to understand the issue you are experiencing.

     

    When you say that you have lost the rest of the picture - what do you exactly mean?

    Does the picture disappear and never comes back?
    When it's saved - have you lost data?
    Do you use a bluetooth keyboard when you speak of arrows?
