Reader Problems

Cannot repair or reload ver8.1, says it is running, but it is not.

Also, cannot open documents in IE8.

    Since you mention IE, I assume that you are on Windows.

     

    Check with the Task Manager's Processes tab if any AcroRd32.exe processes are running.

     

    What means "cannot open"; what exactly happens when you try?  Also, are you running the 64-bit version of IE8?
