Hi all,
I would like to find the best way to split a publication, doc set up with facing pages and auto numbering masters.
I want to reformat for from 8.5x11 facing pages to ipad tall format single pages
My best result so far has been to apply liquid layout to scale for all pages and masters. Then Change doc setup to Ipad (1024x768 tall). It reflows and scales like a dream (for the most part). Then I go to doc Setup again and unclick Facing pages. and all is still fairly ok. The issue is that the master page folios particularly the right hand folios do not move properly. and when I reapply a right hand master to a sigle page the it apply's the left folio instead???
Any Ideas?
Much Thanks.

Hello All,
I have been working this further and think I've come up with a process to take traditional design files set to print ...in spread format...use liquid layout to reformat but keep facing pages ON when reproportioning for 1024x768_Tall. Then once the layout has been reproportioned allow Document pages to shuffle, separate as seen in attached...
and upload to folio builder.
I find following these steps in progression allow master page setup in spreads to not mess the page layout up.
Seems to work! Anyone know if this practice is not suggested for some reason?
On funny thing that happens while testing is that Object States sometimes jump to wrong page when testing in the Content viewer. Don't know if this is due to the page spread shuffle or if its just a buggy content viewer?
Well for stage one I was going to offer to the client there Pub as is. Just so its available on the pads.....With few overlays.
Pinch and Zoom Pdf will be enabled so if they want they can read the smaller text.
Future option would be to yes restyle.
Any input on the Overlay popping up on wrong page occasionally? Its fine then Ill go back to the Content viewer a bit later and an Overlay such as MSO would be on on wrong page in the article....???
Think this has anything to do with the Shuffled facing pages???
You are running the risk of the app being rejected by Apple.
Overlays moving to the first page of an article is fairly common complaint and it’s bug in the ACV that seems to happen mostly with horizontal swipe only set for the article.
I find archiving and redownloading the folio to fix it.
