Hi,
I am making my second for/of children book but I am having issues with hyperlink (URL navto:// ..stack). I have done this many times before.. This issue now is that I can only create one hyperlink per stack. If I want to create more (for example on an menu/navigation page) only the first hyperlink works.
I have the same problem with sound. I can only do one per stack. I used to be able to add more. Could someone please help as I am close to deadline?
Many thanks in advance!!

Hi Bob,
Thank you for your response! Yes, I tried to I add multiple navto links and -audio to a new folio and now it does work. Thanks, now I know the error must be in the current folio (with the links errors).
But this does raise some more questions
Could the current folio be corrupted due too many changes and updates I have made (in the process of creation) as I don't see any different way I created hyperlinks in both folio?Do you know what could cause such an issues? I want to rebuilt the app to have it as clean as possible, but it would be nice that this does not happen again. Do you have any tips to prevent this?I want to make buttons on each article to navigate to the next page with navto links (page back, page forward, table of content). I am not using "the indesign template" for navigation as this is not so kids-friendly. My concern is: how stable will these hyperlinks be? The alternative is the indesign native "the swipe navigation", would this be more stable?
One more question:Is there a way to loop sounds? I see there is option under "media" to loop but it seems not to work. Is this option not for apps but for interactive PDF's?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Rgds.

First, I would try deleting and re-creating the article. If that doesn't work, I would save the source documents as IDML, open them again, hook up all the overlays, and create the article again. The last resort is to rebuild the source files from scratch. My guess is that re-creating the article will do the trick.
No, you can't loop media files at this time.
Hi Bob,
Thank you. I will do so.

Hi Bob,
I have two more questions:
1. Is it possible to disable the swipe function at a place where I have a hyperlink? The reason why I ask; I am making an app for children and they might not be so accurate when they press on a hyperlink/button. When they press they might do this with a swiping movement. This will possibly direct them to the wrong page (next page instead of menu).
2. When I use the image seq (of two similar pictures) I see for a split second a lighter picture and then it settles to darker. This is not so nice as it looks like it flickers. Is there a way solve this?-The reason why I ask; I would like to disable the swipe function by making an image seq with following settings selected:-Show first image initially-Auto Play-Tap to play and pause (to avoid the standard Adobe navigation template)-Swipe to change image (to avoid swiping
Children are not very accurate and an app should be resistant to some of degree abuse. This why I am looking into the option of disabling/controlling the wipe function. I like to have the app as clean and clear as possible for kids to navigate without confusion.
Hope you are able to help,
RgdsMartijn

Does this limitation occur when you add multiple navto links or audio files to a new article in a new folio?
