I was desperately trying to scan an important document tonight, but my newly installed Acrobat X, which is part of my Creative Cloud, not only won't scan in black and white or color it keeps throwing error messages and then the program locks up with no way to close it at all other than rebooting. I hope someone can help! Thank you. I'm going to try to uninstall and reinstall it, but I don't know if it will help. I have no problems with 9.
HI! Thank you for the support. I did completely uninstall it, including the foreign language version that was on there PLUS I discovered just after the reinstall that my Brother multifunction printer also had a firmware update AND Acrobat also stopped freezing. It locked up more than 20 times and nothing would click it away--so much of the issue didn't even involve error messages--it just seemed to disable everything just sometimes with a "not responding" message. Things seem to be working much, much better this time--but great to have a resource here!
