Win7 - Firefox. my flash was working fine and then i oops'ed.
i tried installing the newest version of flash but i tried the 64-bit, since my system is x64.
My Flash in Firefox hasnt worked since.
Ive tried uninstalling/reinstalling 4 or 5 times and reinstalling the 32-bit version and Flash in Firefox still isnt working.
All i get on the "check your flash" page is a vertical green line where some movie is suppose to be playing.
any ideas?
Howie
This sounds like a video card driver issue. Please make sure you have the latest available drivers for your video card.
If the issue persists after updating your video card drivers, try the following:
Try disabling Hardware Acceleration in Flash Player.
Details are in the Solve Video Problems section, here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html
If you're still experiencing weird rendering problems, please give us the output of dxdiag:
Click Start
Type dxdiag
Save the information to a file, and paste the contents in this thread, or attach the file (click Use Advanced Editor in the upper right above the reply box)
sorry, as always, 5 mins after i post a question, i find the solution myself.
It turned out to be some problem with Real Player Download thingie.
I disabled it by; open real player, get into Preferences, go too Download & Recording, take check out of Enable Web Download... etc
restart Firefox, getting the movie playing on the Test Flash page. ![]()
