Hi Everyone,

I have a yellow shape with the following breakup:

C: 0

M: 16

Y: 100

K: 0

On top of the yellow shape is a purple shape with the following colour breakup:

C: 79

M: 100

Y: 0

K: 15

I've reduced the opacity of the purple to 10%.

Onscreen the reduced-opacity purple looks a bit gray but I need to find out how it will print, ie. will it be noticably yellow or more purple.

Is there a way to know this prior to printing?

Appreciate any help.

    gwh,

The proof of the pudding is the eating.

Ultimately, to know how it prints, print.

You may use a PostScript printer for a first hint.

But with 10% opacity there should be no doubt that the yellow will shine through so that it will be like a shading, with a twist.
