Cash Flying

Jun 26, 2012 8:28 AM

I would like to create a visual effect with lots of cash flying to the ground with an alpha channel. Any ideas on how to go about it.

Thanks.

Some simple Card Dance with a Fractal Noise (pre-compose!) as input would do just fine. Repeat your bganknote using Motion Tile and match the settings to the number of tiles in Card Dance you plan to use...

How realistic of an effect are you looking for?  Can you provide a link to an example of something familiar?

As I said: Card Dance+Motion Tile. All you will need. You will just have to play with it a bit to get some interesting motion.

Another option is to use a particle generator like CC Particle Systems II, which is applied to an image of a dollar bill or similar.

How do I go about to create that?

Just copy the settings I've used in the screengrab.  Get yourself a pic of a dollar bill, precompose it so your layer is comp sized, apply CC Particle Systems II.
