Setting Start Page to Web App

Is it possible to set Start Page to a specific web app item? In this case to the latest item added

    Hi there,

     

    You can not set a start page on anything other than a web page. However, you can create a page and add a 301 redirect URL to it as shown in the screenshot below.

     

    But you can not change that URL to the latest item's URL automatically. You'll have to do it manually.

    You can make a page and add a list layout version of that web app item. You can then run a javascript redirect as soon as the page loads grabbing the url from that latest web app item to the detail view.
    Will work well.
    This is in terms of having something dynamic that will always direct to the latest web app item automatically.
