Is there a way to view the number of anchor points used in a complex object? eg on an object created with live trace.

If not directly built into Illustrator CS5 is there a Plugin?

You can choose Obect > path > Simplify and it will tell you the number of anchor points on the object.

or Window->Document Info, and in the flyout menu click on "Objects"
