Loading font into Illustrator.

Hi all,

 

Is it possible to refresh the font list of illustrator using scripting?

    I don't think so… But I have plug-ins that auto-activate on file open so not an issue that I have needed to investigate…

    I am loading the font into memory from plugin and i didn't find a way to refresh the font list there. So I thought there might be a way to refresh the list using script and apply to the selected text frames.

    I use a plug-in at work that adds known fonts on the fly as I open documents… I can't check now ( im at home )… I would think that script will only access those loaded in app launch… But thats a guess and I would supose down to each plug-in too… I see no scripting methods for any of this… That would apply to the CS Suite not just AI…
