Indesign 3.0 can't print to adobepdf

I am having an issue where I can't print ANYTHING in InDesign 3.0 to a PDF file.

 

Not sure what is wrong but it will not work, period.

 

Any advice?  Thanks.

    A few clarifying questions:

     

    1. Are you actually using version 3.0 of InDesign, or are you using CS3 (v 5.0)?
    2. What steps are you taking to export to PDF?

     

    Any screenshots would be very helpful.

    In addition, why are you printing to PDF? The recommended method of PDF creation is through the export command.

    Yes, actually CS3 v 5

     

    Wasn't exporting was trying to print to pdf with print utility.

     

    It looks like Export is the way to go.

    Great, I'll use Export.

    I was trying to Print to pdf.  I a have utility that does it normally.
