Adobe Community: Photoshop stops with splash screen

It doesn't sound like a Creative Cloud problem. It sounds like the permissions to open the file are not set correctly on your computer.

What operating system?

The operating system is Windows 7 64. A second computer with the same OS giveas the same problem. Adobe master collection CS5 has been removed from both computers. The adobe cleaner tool has been used

What happens when you try to open a different image in Photoshop CS6?

It's impossible to open any image in Photoshop. Before the splash screen disapppears the message als discribed appears en there is no menu or whatelse to open an image.

It sounds like a bad installation. I would use the Uninstall utility to remove Photoshop, then download Photoshop again using the Adobe Application Manager.

The problem is solved. I've made a complete new installation in a new (administrator) Account. All apps seem to function correctly.
