PDF in Cp 5

I have a pdf file embedded in a cp5 project. It's working in preview just fine.  I need to publish this into a zip for our SumTotal LMS. How do I handle loading the pdf? I'm pretty sure I can't just add the pdf to the zip file (or can I)?

Can someone please walk me through this step by step?

Thanks.

MC

    Hello,

    Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Yes you are right, you need to add the .pdf file to the published .zip file (by Captivate 5) manually.

Make sure when you are calling your .pdf file in Captivate 5 project, use only the name of the file (abc.pdf)

    Thanks,

    Vikram

I'll chime in.  Yes.  If you copy the PDF into the output folder in the same place as the output SWF file, you just use the filename of the PDF as your path.  If you are still seeing a file path of C:// anything in Edit mode as the path to the file then at runtime it will be looking for the PDF at that URL and the link of course will only work when testing on your local hard drive, not when the content is loaded to a web server.
