Problem with CS6 Crashing Win7 x64

Everytime I create a new project or open an existing project Premiere freezes the whole system. I think it is a graphics card issue as other programs are having issues. I have reinstall the driver several times and am using the latest driver 301.42. I have a Nvidia GTX580. I don't know if it matters but I have CS4 still installed as well. If someone could provide some advice that would be great. I have spent all day trying to get this to work.
