I have never used Premiere Pro before and I am trying to create a video file from Premiere Pro CS6 to be saved on a DVD and played back in HD on widescreen televisions.
I created the project from single high res jpeg images. I placed a transition to each image and added a soundtrack to it.
I don't know what I have to do to get it to export in HD in a file format that could be played in a dvd player.
You have to burn a blu-ray if you want it to be HD. Dvd's that play inside regular DVD players are maxed out at 720x480 or 720x576 pixels. It's simply how the video-ts structure for DVD disc were made to work.
