Cannot migrate successfully

Jun 29, 2012 11:53 AM

I have two machines running Mac OS X Lion.

I am migrating betwen the two computers. I transferred all the files to the new computer. However, when I tried to run CS4 Illustrator and Photoshop I got a message that I could not run on more than two computers.

So I tried deactivating from Photoshop, and the screen indicateds "Deactivation Complete". However, the information did not get transferred because when try to start the application again in the new computer, I still get the same message.

Strangely, I can still run the application in the old computer, even though I deactivated it.

Yes utilizing the migration assistant to transfer over Adobe applications often does not work successfully.  I would recommend removing the software using the uninstallers in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.  You will then want to reinstall from your installation media.
