Why is it a different price?

Jun 28, 2012 7:03 PM

I want to upgrade to CS6 Dreamweaver. I go to purchase it online and it tells me that I'm in another country so I have to login via that account and then suddenly the cost of the product is over $100 more expensive? If I'm purchasing a product online from this website what does it matter what country I live in? Surely I should still be able to purchase the upgrade for the program at the same price?  After all I'm purchasing a download, not something that is going to be sent to me.

This is a user to user forum. Nobody here can influence Adobe's pricing decisions, not even the support guys helping people. That aside, there's plenty of such discussions to be found here and elsewhere and frankly I see no need to repeat them until our ears bleed. Things are just as they are and there is no point to make a fuss over it. Everything else is just a waste of time - yours and everyone else's.

Kathiemayt the pricing differences are influenced by a variety of factors.  These include but are not limited too taxes applicable for that country/region, cost of doing business, marketing, and even having the product available for purchase in the country/region.
