Folder Hierarchy on android project

Hey guys!

 

So, I'm having a issue here that I hope someone may help.

 

My project folders are organized like this

 

assets

     sub_folder

          somevideo.flv

bin

     sub_folder

          myproject.swf

src

     sub_folder

          myclass.as

 

I want to play somevideo.flv using NetStream. I included the assets folder in the publish settings for android 3.2 (the added path is the full path not only the relative path so I got something like "c:\users\myname\documents\....\assets"

 

suppose my NetSctream object is called stream. What should the string value of path be set to? I was thinking something like "../../assets/sub_folder/somevideo.flv" but can't get it to work.

 

this.stream.play(path);

    The path where you read the files included as part of the structure of the application, use an absolute path does not make sense.

    You should create a folder for the videos is part of the structure based on your app.

    Maybe, you could find the file without path, ie path = "somevideo.flv"

    Maybe you didn't understand what I meant. When I'm at the settings window for android , at the bottom where it says 'included files', the folder I added has an absolute path, when I'd expect it´d use a path relative to the FLA file or smth.  Please guys I really need help here! Don't people from adobe read the forums?

    One new information: if I add a folder at the same level as where the file is published (i.e. bin/assets) then I can do path = 'asstes/video.flv'. Is it not possible to use a path that is not under the level of the published swf?

    where say 'included files' you can only add file to package in the apk file, you can't add paths, you only can add files
