I have a button the has the plus symbol ![]()
When clicking the
symbol I want to show a box (in the same area) with a an x in the same place as the
and have the X reveal the ![]()
Here is an example:
How should I go about doing this?
Do I make a multi state object where the 1st state is the plus and the second state is the X with the text. (But then the whole thing would be able to be closed clicking anywhere)
Step 1: Create the 2 display mode (the "+" and the "x"ed info). Make sure to group each mode if it's made from several items.
Step 2: Place the items (groups) on top of each other, aligning the "+" and "x" to the same position, select both and use the Object States panel to create a multi-state object. Change the default name given to the MSO so you'll be able to recognize it later.
Step 3: Draw an empty shape/frame around the tapping hot zone, convert it to button and using the Buttons panel set the button action to Go To Next State, and make sure to select the correct MSO name.
Now you have a multi-state object that changes to the next state each time you tap on the button.
