Help! My adobe premiere pro is acting up and I dont know how to fix it.

Everytime I drag in a new audio or video file on the timeline it looks like the picture you can see attached. It wont leave, I cant move files and videos around because the colour covers everything up and I really need this to finish a music video for school!! Please help me.

This version is not a trial and was bought.

With that kind of display error I'd be inclined to take a look at the display driver.
