I keep getting the error message that adobe acrobat reader 9.5.1 is currently busy and to try again when, in fact, it is not in use. What can I do about getting around this error message?
I am operating under Windows 7 and rebooting has not helped. I can enter Adobe Acrobat Reader and open any PDF docs I have already on my computer, but when I try to open a PDF attachment to an email, or go to an online site where I want to retrieve PDF documents for use, I get this error message. Any help is appreciated. Mickey
Michael, I tried my laptop and had no trouble with using Adobe Reader. Then I removed 9.5.1 from my PC and loaded Adobe Reader X - everything seems to be working correctly now. I guess the problem was with the first version I had downloaded. Thank you for your assistance, Mickey
