Visually link layers in code view

Jun 29, 2012 7:31 PM

Hi, Is there any way or extension that helps to link a <div> to its corrsponding ending tag. Many times in a page you end up with a series of closing </div> tags and it would be good to have a line that shows the corresponding opening tag instead of having to comment each tag with <-- end of main tag ---> which just adds up more text to work with ..thank you

I'm not aware of any such tool.  You can certainly submit a 'wish' to the team for consideration....

By the way, "layers" is an outmoded way to specifically refer to absolutely positioned <div> tags.  Since using such things as a primary layout method has been shown to be unwise, their usage has dropped to nearly zero, as has the term.  A div tag that is not absolutely positioned is just a div tag.
