why adobe not let its user to go back to previous version?

I'm having an extremely hard time after updated to the latest version of flash player. Now all I want is just to go back to the previous version that I had but I kept getting installation error message that says you're currently using the older version. Please go to download center to download the most latest version. Why Adobe force its users to download the latest? How am I over come this installation message? I disabled the internet when I tried to install the previous version and it didn't work. What is other thing out there that I can use other than Adobe flash player?

    Have you looked at the FAQ How do I revert to a previous version of Flash Player?

    I have been trying all different ways to revert back to previous version but I kept getting Installation Encountered Err: you are currently using the older version, please go to download center to download the latest version. I know a lot of people having this issue.  You wrote me back saying that you didn't have this problem, but this a problem to so many users out there. Could you please have adobe's expertise look into this.
