At my school, the still have the CS3 Suite of programs, I own the CS5 Standard Suite. In my graphic design processes class I am unable to work on my homework at home due to the versions differences when we use Indesign. Are there any plugins or ways to save a CS5 Indesign file to be opened in CS3 Indesign without access to a copy of CS4? Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Nothing I can think of , you need to have CS4 to go from CS5 to CS3

We can't help, when you have InDesign CS5, but on InDesign CS6 has a support of CS4 InDesign files. You can upgrade it from InDesign CS5 to CS6 or install the free trial to CS6, it will be not delete it. You can try this to get for free: http://goo.gl/dFBHV, can be this helpful.

And what exactly does that do to help? The OP is aware that CS4 is needed here and nothing you've stated changes that.
