Despite the install links, exe files, and then Adobe installer Encore still missing buttons.
Finally copied my libraries from Encore CS5 and CS5.1.
I notice the layers tab is still empty?

    The layers panel shows you the layers of a menu in your project that you have selected in the menu viewer. If you select an asset or timeline in the project panel, the layers panel will be "empty" because there is no menu selected.

     

    The lack of a full library with buttons is very frustrating. However, I am convinced that with the clarification of using the "Additional Solution: Install the Resource Central library content" on this link, that the content is available.

    Look down the page for "Additional Solution: Install the Resource Central library content."

     

    Follow the instructions in that section.

    Looks like my Yahoo account has been compromised. Great! The message about a wholesaler is not me. Sorry.

    Thank you Stan for your quick reply. I tried the different links on the page you sent with no success, so I copied
    the files from CS5 and CS5.1 and that did the trick, but I guess I was so frustrated I just wasn't thinking when I
    clicked on the layers tabs ... and I make my menu's in PS. Duh!

    Ouch. account compromises can be tough. And I was getting excited about that new laptop...

     

    I had my own "duh" moment when I had to look at the layers panel to realize what it was! Ha! I do look at it from time to time, but I love "edit in photoshop."

     

    The old library is better than frustration. When you're ready to give it another go, the new library has new stuff. Let us know and we'll try to sort out where you are going wrong.

    Thank you Jeff. I changed my Yahoo password, (again), but ... could not log into Adobe forums on other computer so ...
    will have to wait and see. Thanks again.
