InCopy to manage manage print and iPad publication

We create a print and iPad version of a magazine and it would be nice to use the same copy editing and final text across our print, as well as portrait and landscape versions of a layout.

Is this possible using InCopy?

    It’s possible even without it.

And if you post full details on what you’re doing we can give you some help. This includes what version of InDesign you’re using.

You could use the content collector tools. That will allow you to create a link between the stories.

Use the content collector to copy it to the conveyor and the Content Placer tool to place it in the other layouts. If you update the parent story you’ll get an alert in the child stories.
