Is there a way to set up a search button to search the content of html/css pages? There are no databases connected to the pages.
On one page there is a spry accordion.
Hi,
under the assumption that I have understood you correctly:
There really are a great number of possibilities. Some of them you could find by using the search function here in this forum.
Very good are the opportunities that Nancy O. offers on her website, as its shown here:
Google also offers a search engine.

In German language, but very easy, effective and easily to adapt:

A small note in the end: Using the search function of your website, visitors will be able to find every page or information you loaded to your server. Maybe this is not always desirable (website under construction or something like that).

Robots use neither CSS or JavaScript when crawling & indexing a site. If the content is within semantic markup (i.e. real HTML text, not images), they can "see" it. It matters little if content is inside tabbed panels, accordions or drop-down menus.
The thing I like about Freefind is that it can index PDF content as well as HTML. ![]()
