Image sequence numbering made easier?

Any hints for automating image sequencing numbering to png from Photoshop for controllers?

Also, any thoughts about using Illustrator to generate the sequences from blends?

I’m sure one of the Photoshop scripters could come up with something pretty quickly.

Or…you could batch rename them in Bridge, I suppose.

Here's a link to my Audio Player SkinMaker Script recipe that automates the production of designed audio controller PNGs from Illustrator.

    Sure.

    Be my guest.

I'm currently working on a similar script for Photoshop, but it's a bit more complex.

@Adi – thank you for ugrading. Tested the older version about an hour ago with Illustrator CS5.

Just out of curiosity two questions:

    1.

Since the script is encoded in binary form, wouldn't it be better to name it accordingly?
I mean you choose the *.jsx suffix instead of *.jsxbin.

Nevertheless it's working in either case…

    2.
To make it compatible to older Illustrator versions, did you encode the *.jsxbin from the old ESTK v. 2.0.2 that came with the CS3 suite?

    Background:

I can remember I had issues with the *.jsxbin format generated by newer ESTKs executing with older InDesign versions.
Don't know if that would be the case with Illustrator scripts.

The problem is that the Illustrator Scripts sub-menu doesn't display scripts with *.jsxbin extension, so I shorted it to *.jsx.

Yes, the binary was exported using the CS3 ESTK 2.

@Adi – oops! I wasn't aware of that. Thank you for clarification. Good to know that jsxbin coded scripts are running with Illustrator at all. So far I did not script much for Illustrator, never in jsxbin format.

For inline video, adding the Tap to View Controler will display the progress when tapping on it.

    1) It is not possible use a custom controller for video (inline video? Yes, in dps all video are inline - streaming is not avaiable available - is it correct?).

    2) If the video container/frame is not in my layout it is not possible tab on button to show a fullscreen video.

Thanks and compliment again for the great script!

Inline videos = videos displayed in the page and not in full screen (iOS only).

    non-streaming video = embedded video.

You can force video streaming by planting an iframe code into a web content object (again, works on iOS only).

    2) If the video container/frame is not in my layout it is not possible tab on button to show a full screen video.

    Why not?

Place your video on the page and either scale the container frame and hide it under the button, or use the Media panel to apply a None poster to it (or both), then set it to Play Full Screen.

Next, set the button action to Video > Play.

Hi all, an audio button controller like this below is supported in Dps?

And what is the best solution to create it? Illustrator? Html?

Is it possible to controll the state of progress - going forward or back?

This would work for a catalog of a music store that would like to publish several audio tracks.

    Many thanks!
