How Open Bridge?  Where's the Button?

A tutorial said the button is about halfway on the Options Bar.

 

I don't see the button or the bar.

 

What's the Options Bar?

 

 

I learned of the Cntrl Alt O keystroke.

    What's the Options Bar?

    Window > Options

    Edit: It is used to display settings and entry fields for selected Tools.

    Hello.

    There used to be an open in Bridge button in CS3, then it migrated to the Application Frame in CS 4 and 5, and the application frame is no more on CS6.

    Note that there is now a Mini-Bridge panel, while File> Browse gives you the ALT/Option+CTRL/CMD+O shortcut.

    There is no button for the mini bridge but the application frame is well and live in CS6.

     

    It is not the default as it should be and will be in the future especially with the cloud and the need to have it available for including cloud like functions.

     

    And also for being able to tab through files from multiple applications without refocusing.

     

    I wish you guys would stop trying to kill good features that will pave the way of the future with short sidghtedness.

    Indeed, I meant to type "the Application bar is no more", yes, I like the application frame also.

    The application frame is now active by default on the Mac side, and there is a lot of resistance against it.

    I am sad to see the app bar go away, too, but I'm not responsible. (the MVPs are not Adobe employees)

    File/Browse in Bridge. 

     

    how'd I miss that?  I don't know.

     

    I'll read through all the menu items.
