I am trying to paste text into DW CS6 from a text editor (Note Tab Pro) or imbed a link to a Google Map. DW CS6 will not allow me to paste text into code view. Pasting text into DW CS5 was no trouble at all. Is there a setting I need to change? Using Creative Cloud on a Windows 7 64 bit machine.
Thanks Murray. For instance, on this page (http://www.csalc.org/CSALC_Rally.html) I tried to paste the text that imbeds the Google Map in DW CS6. Using CTRL+V or Paste from the menu does nothing. Opening this page's file in DW CS5 allows me to easily paste the text into Code View.
I've just tried copying and pasting that code into Code view in CS6 on Windows 7 64-bit. It worked without problem. It even worked with Live view turned on, and displayed the map.
Can you paste any other code? Is it just the one page? Or can you paste into other pages?
Thanks David. I can't paste anything from a 3rd party product or from the web. However, if I take the text I want to paste, paste it into NoteTab Pro and save it with an .HTML extension, then open that file with DW CS6, I can paste it successfully. I'm just trying to eliminate that workaround, since I didn't need to do this with CS5.
