Help with layout header

Jul 2, 2012 1:12 PM

I am using a two column fixed header and footer. I created an Image for the header but I am not getting the results in all resolutions. so I am considering changing the layout to a liquid header.

How can I go sbout this and keep my image.

If your layout is fixed width then your header and footer dimensions

will never change. What result, precisely, are you looking to get?

"Resolution", in your case, is irrelevant.

Just so you'll know, resolution has no effect on the rendering of a page on the web.  A given page will look exactly the same on all resolutions if you hold the browser viewport width constant.

What results are you hoping to achieve with this page?

That would be a function of their computer, not the page, although the wood image is very much darker on the left than in the center due to the circular lighting effect.
