Can't use Kindle plug-in for InD6

I need to get InDesign 5.5 to use the Amazon Kindle plug-in. I upgraded to Cloud from CS3. So I went from too early to too late. How can I get an in-between version of Indesign?

    It's not InDesign's or Adobe's fault. The Amazon Kindle plug-in hasn't been upgraded yet to work with InDesign CS6. You'll have to ask them when it will be upgraded.

    I'm not suggesting that it's Adobe's fault. What I want to know is whether Adobe can provide me with one of the versions between the CS3 that I purchased back when it was current and the CS6 that I have available with my cloud subscription?

    I mean, somewhere you have this software IND4, 5 or 5.5. Can I download it?

    I disagree. Companies like Amazon and Adobe can and do collaborate prior to significant upgrades.
