I can't run most CS6 applications on my updated Mac OS Lion 10.4 (MacBook Pro 17"). They still say "To open “Adobe Photoshop CS6 (or any other CS6 program),” you need to install a Java runtime, but you are not connected to the Internet." I'm always on the internet using Wifi and it works properly. Please help
Photoshop CS6 requires Mac OS 10.6.8 or later. I am surprised you were able to install it under Mac OS 10.4. You can find the system requirements at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshopextended/tech-specs.html.
In that case please see Install Java (JRE) | Mac OS 10.7 Lion - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/install-java-jre-mac-os.html for an alternative method of installing Java.
Thanks Jeff.
