Video playback issue on Kindle Fire

I can't seem to figure this out. I am testing my folios in Content Viewer on the Kindle Fire. I have a few videos within my folio that are set to play full-screen. When I click on the overlay play button I've created, it plays the video, but there are no controls available to turn off the video and return to the article. If I let the video play all the way through, the screen goes black and I can't exit. I am forced to restart the Kindle. How do I fix this?

Thanks,

Jenny

This is happening here as well.

Doesn't matter whether the video is being played in portrait or landscape (full screen). The video plays, fades to black—and the controllers disappear and the application becomes completely unresponsive. The only way to restore control is to power down and restart the Kindle.

Videos always played fine before. Anyone else experiencing this?

Apologies for my ignorance but does the Kindle Fire have a 'Back' button, either as part of the Android interface or a hardware button? Tapping this on other Android tablets running Gingerbread normally exits a video in DPS and returns you to your folio.

Jenny, see this thread. In my case, using the Media Encoder to convert the file to Flash Video (FLV) seems to have fixed the problem.
