Warnings appear in the Output panel instead of pop-ups. How do I change this?

Warnings, which usually appear as pop-up windows, have started to appear as text in the Output panel. I assume I've accidentally hit a keyboard shortcut whilst working - I didn't go fiddling around with any of the preferences.

 

Does anyone know what key (or menu) I can use to turn it back?

 

I think the version we're using at work is CS4, if that makes any difference.

    usually the warnings and errors appear in the Output panel, if you compile to Android also show in the output panel displays a popup.In a browser displays the pop-up if installed version of Flash Player debbuger

    Sorry, perhaps I'm not using the correct terminology (which is probably why trying to Google the problem proved fruitless.) We definitely aren't talking about the same thing.

     

    I'm talking about these;

    These are appearing as text in the output panel.
