Editing Text Boxes, Acrobat X Pro

2 Questions.

1.  I would like to change the fill/background colour of a text box but can't find where to do it?  Can someone point me in the right direction.  Right now, my text boxes are all white.  I would like them to be a different colour with white text.  I can select white for my text, but can't seem to change the background.

2.  I would like to merge all my text boxes so that if opened by Acrobat, people don't see hundred of text boxes when they click on an area that has text boxes.  But they should be able to see the text.

Thanks.

Stan.

Press Ctrl+E to display the Properties Bar and you'll see where you can change the various properties.

You can flatten the text boxes, which converts them to regualr page contents. Here's a link to a handy JavaScript-based tool that makes this easy: http://www.uvsar.com/projects/acrobat/flattener/
