I'm getting the following errors when attempting to install the 5 updates to CS6 Production Premium the Application Manager called for this morning; This is on a Lion 10.7.4 installation. Premiere was already at 6.0.1, but it called for it to also be updated at 110MB. It called for a SpeedGrade update to 6.0.1 at 33MB. The other updates all were infrastructure updates. Adobe CSXS InfrastructureCS6 for Flash Professional, Illustrator, Photoshop, Prelude, and. Premiere Pro.
This was the result of two attempts:
Adobe SpeedGrade CS6 6.0.1 Update
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210
Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 6.0.1 Update
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210
Next Try:
Adobe SpeedGrade CS6 6.0.1 Update
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210
Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 6.0.1 Update
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210
Adobe CSXS InfrastructureCS6
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I210
Any idea what is going on? Tried with the Premiere Pro 6.0.1 update unchecked, same result.
What version of the Adobe Application Manager are you using? You can locate it at Applications\Utilities\Adobe Application Manager\core\Adobe Application Manager.app. If you get info it should give you the version number.
Also I would recommend trying the steps listed in Error U44M1I210 | Install updates | CCM, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-u44m1i210-installing-up dates-ccm.html.
It's Version 6.0.335.0
I did the steps you suggested above. No help. I finally went into the Library/Applications Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/Install and found the AdobeCSXSInfrastructureCS6-3 folder, the AdobePremiereProCS6-6.0.0-Trial folder, and the AdobeSpeedGradeCS6-6.0.0-Trial folder each containg a setup dmg. I ran the Speedgrade and the the Infrastructure dmg's and they sucessfully updated (I assume). I didn't run the Premiere 6.0.1 as mine is already at that level. On restart, AAM reports everything up to date except Premiere, even though it is at 6.0.1. The two dmg's I ran are now gone from those folders in the Library/etc. Don't know why AAm thinks Premiere is still at 6.0. The 6.0.1 is still present. Couple of questions: why are the setups called trials? How do I get AAM to not report Premiere Pro as needing updating? What are the XML's in the Data Folder in the Library/ Finally, why isn't AAM working in the first place. This seems to be a great way to cause problems bypassing the auto installer.
Many users which have reported problems applying updates have found their issues resolved by installing the updated Adobe Application Manager 6.2.38.0 which can be found at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774. Please respond back if you are still experiencing issues after installing this update.
As for the remainder of your questions it depends on how the updates were packaged in regards to them being indicated as trials. Are you referring to the updates or the install files for the applications themselves?
Finally for the XML files I don't know what folder you are referring to within your Library folder.
Here is what my AAMupdater folder looks like now. The trials were referring to the updates. As you can see, the Premere 6.0.1 update is still there. Don't want to run it as I am already at 6.0.1 and don't wat to disturb any prefs or plugins by accident applying an update that has already been made. Got it from the adobe.com site directly. Why wasn't the the new AAM suggested as an update by the current AAM? Didn't know it existed. Also the XML's I referred to are downstream of the (Cont) Data_folder.
The new AAM you suggested Adobe Application Manager 6.2.38.0 which can be found at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774 worked on my other computer. It solved the problem for it.
