Why do test Newsletters still take 30 minutes to go

It's very frustrating sending a test email because it usually takes 30 minutes to arrive and sometimes has to be sent 2 or 3 times.

I understood this issue was fixed.

Every other system I have used is immediate!

Hi Rob,

I was doing some email newsletter testing yesterday and did not have an issue. Make sure to look in your Junk/Spam folder. Sometimes they show up there. Is there a particular mail client you are having issues with?

Thank you Carol.

We send out a newsletter each month for our Chamber of Commerce.

When we send a test to ourselves nothing happens for up to 30minutes unless we resend two or three times. Then they come through in a batch.

After the first batch comes through any other tests are immediate.

The Newsletter seems to go out on time, it's just the tests causing the problem and wasting time.

This only happens with BC emails. We've used Mail Chimp and PHPmail and they are instant.

We are on the Sydney server so I don't know if it's some sort of caching problem.
