Flash Player- General Installtion error

Everything was working fine this morning. I then come off playing a game to go on youtube and says i dont have flash installed, which i do because its been working all week. So i went to install/update it again. But it gets stuck at 51% then comes up saying

'general installation error'. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling but now ive somehow mucked it up even more.

Any help would be great. Thanks!
