Typing on PDFs.

I have adobe reader for the iPad. How can I type on PDFs without using a note.

    I want to be able to fill a field on the PDF with text (not a fillable form). When I am annotating, I only have the option for a note. Is there a way I can include text on the PDF without using a note or freehand?
