Where is your music coming from? a WAV file? iTunes? a CD? Or are you creating it using Quicktracks and, if so, which version of the program are you using?

Have you checked out my free 8-part Basic Training tutorials for Premiere Elements? They'll help you work through the basics of video production.

    Welcome to the forum.

The answers to Steve's questions, about the source of the music, will determine the exact steps that one would use to Import the files into the Project.

One little caveat is that since about PrE 8 (I've only see it mentioned once in PrE 10), there have been reports of problems with either of the two Fixed Audio Tracks (Narration and Soundtrack). When those do arise, and it seems that the problems are Project-centric, the "fix" is to just use one of the empty "regular" Audio Tracks, like Audio 2, or Audio 3. That has always cleared up the problem.

    Good luck,

    Hunt
